Contract terms and conditions

We follow the contract terms recommended by the Finnish Energy (Energiateollisuus ry), which provide clear rules for agreements between the customer and the electricity distribution company. These recommended terms ensure clarity and consistency in all agreements. We always adhere to these terms when concluding connection and electricity network contracts.

Terms and conditions of network service

If your metering point is located within Caruna's network areas, we conclude an electricity network contract. If you have signed an agreement with Fortum, your obligated electricity supplier, you can find the terms and conditions related to this electricity delivery on your electricity supplier's website.

Terms and conditions of network connections

If you own an electricity connection in one of Caruna's network areas, the terms and conditions of network connections apply to your connection contract.

Terms and conditions of electricity generation connections and network services

The connection and network service terms for electricity production are included in the Connection and Network Service Terms. The terms and conditions apply if the electricity generation equipment owned by the connecting party or a third party on the side of the connecting party is connected to the electricity network and operates in parallel with the distribution network in such a way that the electricity generated can be fed into the distribution network entirely or in part. In the cases referred to above, an electricity network contract must be concluded for the supply of electricity, and a separate contract must be concluded for any purchases of electricity.
