Caruna’s safety award for contractors
Caruna annually rewards its partners who have excelled in safety work, for example, by strengthening their company’s safety culture through their actions or creating new practices that keep safety naturally visible in everyday work. The winners are selected based on safety data and votes from Caruna employees.
Why does Caruna present a safety award?
The purpose of the safety award is to highlight partners who operate safely and set an example for others. Often, those who perform well remain unnoticed because daily work focuses on correcting deviations.
Those who work safely are the best examples of how proactive measures and continuous improvement can lead to excellent results.
Investing in safety always pays off
If you wonder whether investing in safety is worth it, the answer is simple: always! Preventing accidents and deviations in advance saves effort, extra costs, and most importantly, human suffering. Plus, you can gain recognition and honor!

Awarded companies had no accidents leading to absence
In 2025, Caruna awarded two partners for safety: Eltel Networks Oy and N3M Power Oy Ab.

Eltel Networks had the highest number of electrical safety observations compared to hours worked during the competition period.
“In addition, several Eltel teams were nominated for the other award. A special mention goes to the Ostrobothnia team and particularly one work pair for their actions during a fire situation,” the award criteria state.
