If you live in Caruna's network area and we distribute electricity to you, you will have a valid electricity sale contract and an electricity network service agreement.
The network service agreement begins and ends automatically if you alter your agreement with an electricity supplier. In other words, it is not necessary to expressly enter into or terminate a network service agreement. If necessary, contact your electricity supplier.
Electricity connection contract
Properties connected to the electricity network have valid connection contracts.
If you buy a property and it already has an electricity connection, remember to declare the change of owner when you become the new owner of the property.
If you generate electricity yourself – in other words, if you have small-scale electricity generation equipment – you must make an agreement with your selected electricity supplier for the generation facilities. We will be notified of the new agreement automatically, and we will make a network service agreement for the small-scale generation facility accordingly.
If you use fuses rated no higher than 63 amperes, you will be able to use the General Distribution, Night-Time Distribution, and Seasonal Distribution products. Power products are available for sites using fuses rated at over 63 amperes.
You can change your network service agreement once a year free of charge. Read about the different products and compare them in Caruna+.

I would like to obtain competitive quotes for electricity
Electricity distribution is a strictly monitored and supervised monopoly, and electricity is always distributed and invoiced by a local electricity distribution company such as Caruna. For this reason, you cannot change your electricity distribution company, but you can obtain competitive quotes from electrical energy suppliers. You can compare prices and agreements using services such as sahkonhinta.fi, which is provided by the Energy Authority.
