Right of representation

If you would like to authorise somebody to view and alter your details, you can grant a person the right of representation on your Caruna+ account. Both users must have Caruna+ accounts. 

It is this easy: 

  1. Add the Caruna+ username of your chosen representative under "manage authorisations" 
  2. Your representative will receive an acceptance request by email 
  3. The representative should log in to Caruna+ and approve the request under "Manage authorisations"

An electricity network contract

If you live in Caruna's network area and we distribute electricity to you, you will have a valid electricity sale contract and an electricity network contract.  

The electricity network contract begins and ends automatically if you alter your contract with an electricity supplier. In other words, it is not necessary to expressly enter into or terminate an electricity network contract. If necessary, contact your electricity supplier.

Electricity connection contract

Properties connected to the electricity network have valid connection contracts.  

If you buy a property and it already has an electricity connection, remember to declare the change of owner when you become the new owner of the property.

Electricity network contract for generation

If you generate electricity yourself – in other words, if you have small-scale electricity generation equipment – you must make a contract with your selected electricity supplier for the generation facilities. We will be notified of the new contract automatically, and we will make an electricity network contract for the small-scale generation facility accordingly.

Electricity distribution is a strictly monitored and supervised monopoly, and electricity is always distributed and invoiced by a local electricity distribution company such as Caruna. For this reason, you cannot change your electricity distribution company, but you can obtain competitive quotes from electrical energy suppliers.
