You will receive the right to connect to the electricity network when you sign a connection contract and pay the connection fee.
We use the so-called zone pricing to set the electricity connection rates. A connection zone is determined by the distance to the nearest secondary substation. The connection fee for new low voltage connections is determined according to the size of the main fuses used on the connection.
The price is based on the average construction costs incurred in expanding the new electricity network in each zone, as well as a capacity reservation fee. The connection fee includes the activation of the connection and installation of the electricity meter.
Further details on how the connection zones are determined are provided below. The prices of electricity connections are shown in the rates at the bottom of this page. Caruna has two network companies, Caruna Oy and Caruna Espoo Oy. Choose the rates according to which network company's territory your plot of land is located in.

Remember to get started with your connection in good time; it may take as long as several months to determine the price for a site that requires extensive preliminary investigation. This work may include connections outside the zonal model or situations in which the network needs to be reinforced over a long distance.
