Caruna ready to net small-scale production
The new amendment to the Government Decree allows hourly netting of small-scale production and consumption. This means that Caruna will automatically compensate for production that is not used in a one-hour period in the small-scale producer's distribution invoice.
New energy for housing companies: shared solar panels reduce electricity invoices for housing companies and residents
In the future, housing companies will be able to deploy shared solar panels even more easily. At the turn of the year, electricity distribution company Caruna will introduce the Solar community service to housing companies located in its network areas, which will enable housing companies and residents to reduce their electricity invoices. Shared solar panels also save the environment.
Caruna takes care of the electricity distribution even under abnormal circumstances
We take the coronavirus situation seriously and we have already taken steps to ensure the electricity distribution even under abnormal circumstances. We ensure that electricity will be transferred to our customers and possible faults will be taken care of.
Caruna offers its private customers a free three months' respite for payment and expedites the payment of invoices to contractors
The option to extend the payment deadline applies to all of Caruna's private customers, around 600,000 in total. By this measure, Caruna wants to do its part in helping to alleviate the financial impacts of the coronavirus epidemic on its customers.
